Hermione snorted at that, shaking the thoughts from her head and refocused on her book. She couldn’t let herself get distracted once again by Ron and his absence. She was not like Lavender Brown and the ever Best friend duo chasing squad. She was different, she was independent. She forced herself to read but inside knew that she wasn’t going to be settled until he- they-showed up. Besides the library, the Great Hall was one of her favorite spots to spend at Hogwarts. The ceiling was magically enchanted, showing the weather of the outdoors, whether it be a summer sky day, like it was, or a cloudy winter’s eve. At dinner, you could see the stars sparkle above your head, shining down at the candles that were floating in the air. The Great Hall represented the magic, the enchantment, the semi-togetherness of Hogwarts. Where new friends were met and relationships formed. It was the one place where the houses were not competing against one another, although words were thrown across to other tables by the less mature. [/ul][/size]
